Cookie policy

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device. This page sets out which cookies we use, what for, and how to change your choice.
1. Necessary cookies
These cookies are needed to make the website work: they remember your language choice and your basket and protect forms against misuse. No consent is required for them, but we are open about them all the same.
2. The cookies we set
The last two are only present on the site if we actually use those trackers and you have consented to them. Without consent they are not loaded.
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Necessary | Maintains your session: basket and form protection | Until you close your browser |
| equiviento_lang | Necessary | Remembers which language you view the site in | 1 year |
| equiviento_consent | Necessary | Stores your choice in the cookie notice | 6 months |
| equiviento_ref | Functional | Remembers which ambassador link brought you here | 60 days |
| _ga, _ga_* | Statistics | Google Analytics — only after your consent | Up to 2 years |
| _fbp | Marketing | Meta Pixel — only after your consent | 3 months |
3. Statistics and marketing
Statistics cookies help us understand which pages are visited, so that we can improve the site. Marketing cookies make it possible to show you relevant advertising on other platforms.
We set these cookies only after you have consented through the cookie notice. If you do not consent, the corresponding scripts are not loaded: they are not on the page at all.
4. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your choice at any time by deleting the equiviento_consent cookie in your browser. The cookie notice then appears again and you can choose afresh.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block all cookies, the basket and the language choice will no longer work properly.
5. Third-party cookies
Where we use statistics or marketing, those cookies are set by Google and Meta respectively. Those parties process the data under their own privacy policies. Payment runs through Stripe; Stripe sets cookies on its own payment page, not on our site.
6. More information
Our privacy policy explains which other personal data we process and what rights you have.
