Equiviento takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains clearly which data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
1. Who processes your data?

2. Which data do we collect?
When you send us an email, we process your name, email address and the content of your message. If you place an order, we also process your address details and telephone number, because we need them to deliver your parcel.
3. Cookies
We always set necessary cookies: they remember your language choice and your basket and protect forms. We set statistics and marketing cookies only after you have consented through the cookie notice. Our cookie policy lists exactly which cookies these are.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe. Your card details are processed directly by Stripe and never reach our own servers. In doing so Stripe processes data as a controller under its own privacy policy.
5. Shipping and delivery
To deliver your order we share your name and address details with our carrier and, once we work with one, with the fulfilment centre that ships the parcels for us.
6. Newsletter
Only if you expressly opt in at checkout or through a form do we use your email address to send you news and offers. Every email contains an unsubscribe link; you can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge.
7. How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your data longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
- Order and invoice data: for as long as the statutory retention obligation for business records applies.
- Your newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.
- Emails containing questions: no longer than needed to handle your question and any follow-up.

8. Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data to third parties. We share data only with parties that are necessary for our service, such as our payment provider, carrier and email software, or where we are legally required to do so.
9. Equiviento Scan (the app)
Alongside this shop we offer Equiviento Scan: an app with which an owner films their horse and receives a biomechanical observation. The app is currently available by invitation only. If you use the app, we process the following.
The recordings are stored with Supabase and are accessible only from your own account. For the analysis we send the recordings to Google Gemini; data is processed outside the European Economic Area in the process. What the analysis produces is an observation, expressly not a medical diagnosis.
You decide how long your recordings are kept: in the app you can delete an observation or an entire horse, after which the associated recordings are erased. If you want your whole account and all data removed, email info@equiviento.com.
If you film in a place where other people may be present, please bear that in mind and make sure anyone appearing on camera knows about it.
- Your email address and password, so that you can log in.
- The details you enter about your horse: name, breed, year of birth and your own notes.
- The video recordings you make and the observation that results from them.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase or transfer your personal data, and to object to the processing. Contact us at info@equiviento.com to exercise those rights.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you live in Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos; if you live in another EU country, you can approach the supervisory authority there.
11. Security
Our site runs entirely over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing.
