Equiviento takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains clearly which data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

1. Which data do we collect?

When you send us an email, we process your name, email address and the content of your message. If you place an order we also process your address details and phone number, because we need those to deliver your parcel.

2. Cookies

We always place necessary cookies: they remember your language choice and your cart and secure our forms. Cookies for statistics and marketing are only placed after you have given permission via the cookie notice. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time.

3. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe. Your card details are processed directly by Stripe and never reach our own servers. Stripe processes this data as a controller under its own privacy policy.

4. Shipping and delivery

To deliver your order we share your name and address details with our carrier and, once we start working with one, with the fulfilment centre that ships parcels on our behalf.

5. Newsletter

Only if you explicitly opt in at checkout or via a form do we use your email address to send you news and offers. Every email contains an unsubscribe link; you can opt out at any time free of charge.

6. How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Order and invoice data are subject to a statutory retention period.

7. Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data to third parties. We only share data with parties required for our services, such as our payment provider, carrier and email software, or when legally required.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, and to object to the processing. Please get in touch with us for this.

Our site runs entirely over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing.
